I hate to shout out to another business that is truly privately owned on another business's horrible review, but I think it should be done. I must say that after having a memorable time at Fun Boats Dolphine Cruise 🛳 with Wounded Warrior Project.

The Bread Pudding was standard fare and did not have any component that screamed this is worth the calories. The Original Honey Cake was a play on doberge and carrot cake.

For $16.00 and no protein this was a rip off. The Fettuccine Alfredo had enough nutmeg to bake a carrot cake. The Golden Tile Special was $44.00 and the flavor (maybe curry?) was not inviting. Whatever sauce was on the scallop was taking the spotlight. The Scallops were not for the purist as the flavor was not letting the light shine on the scallop. The Tuna Supreme was a sushi roll that had a very small amount of that good tuna, but the roll was heavy with bland rice and overall was not worth it. The Pork Gyoza tasted like something you get out of a grocery store, and was not impressive. The Ginger shrimp skewer was the next best thing because it was properly grilled and seasoned but the curve ball was the pickled cucumber the shrimp sat on. The tuna was HIGH quality and the sauce was packed with flavor. The Chili Garlic Sashimi was by far the best dish out of the ones we got. A champagne and blueberry flavored drink. The Kir Royale was an impressive starter cocktail. I cannot recommend-sorry-for the price point- the service was less than expected.Īfter hearing great reviews overall this experience was disappointing. This was certainly a recoverable situation.too bad it wasn't addressed.

NO ONE WAS HAPPY about the mess at our table. I'd have to say I wasn't impressed and it's a good thing our friends picked up the tab. Didn't represent management well in that get-up! Our one complaint about our table needing clearing before dessert (please) fell on a deaf ear because he did absolutely nothing. Must comment that a " management type guy stopped by in his game shirt, track shorts and his black calf high Socks. For an eight top that made for a true mess. Would have liked the finished plates cleared away before the next course arrived but they were mostly just pushed aside. Service lacked a bit of finesse however, but servers are hard to find nowadays I recognize. The seafood tower and crab claws were all on point. I have to start out by saying I wasn't much for a hot piece of fish sitting on a cold bed of couscous but, hey, try something new once in a while, right?. A dockside seafood joint with a casual flare. He was very friendly!Īn awesome boat ride took us from Perdido Key to Fisher's. Kids even spotted the black cat, Junior mint. Kids enjoyed their cheeseburger and fries. The Parmesan risotto it paired with was good. My bacon wrapped chicken wasn’t the best I’ve had but it was still good - just slightly overcooked and hence dry. The crab meat was literally stuffed into the crabs - other establishments tend to cheap out on the crab meat with crab cakes but this place didn’t disappoint. The warmed bread and butter are garlic heavy which we loved though others might not. We started with the crab cakes and bread for our appetizers. Even if our food sucked (which it didn’t!), we’d still leave a positive review.

She was pleasant, professional, kind, knowledgeable about the menu, honest, and effortless friendly. The patio is completely covered which was perfect on a rainy day like today! It was big enough yo social distance but small enough to still feel intimate. There was no wait to sit outside and they had a good size outdoor patio. Our entire dining experience was wonderful from start to finish.
